New Free Library Story: Point of Honor by Elizabeth Moon

“Point of Honor,” an original short story by Elizabeth Moon, is the latest addition to Suvudu’s Free Library.

Oath of Fealty, Elizabeth Moon’s latest novel, returns us to the world first revealed in The Deed of Paksenarrion, Moon’s epic fantasy trilogy published nearly 20 years ago. Oath, first in a new trilogy, starts a new chapter in the lives of many of the characters readers enjoyed so much in the earlier books: Kieri Phelan, now king of Tsaia; Phelan’s former captain Dorrin, whose new role is something she never expected or desired; Sergeant Stammel, who faces an overwhelming foe but fights back with grit and stamina, and many more. Also returning in the new book is a certain Arvid Semminson, who once gave Paks a necklace which now turns out to be a clue to a great mystery.

Here is a glimpse of Arvid in an side story that does not appear in Oath of Fealty, but which casts lights on the events of the new trilogy.
