I decided about a year ago to read some of the canonical sci-fi and fantasy texts that I missed as a kid/teen, and all the Earthsea books were on my list. I've been working through Le Guin's stuff, (finished <i>The Left Hand of Darkness</i> and <i>Tombs of Atuan</i> awhile ago) but this post got me excited about the Earthsea books after the original trilogy!
