It is not that we WoT fanatics think that our beloved characters are better, it is just that Robert Jordan was able to create a work of fiction that goes so much deeper than any other story I've come across. His characters have so much to add to these virtual fights. It is just so disappointing. I am very sorry Shawn Speakman that you feel that way about the WoT villains. Do you even know the villains from this incredible tale? And saying if Sauron wins we can revel? Are you joking? THAT is insulting.
