Cannot wait! Eager to see how this one goes down. Love both characters and want to see it play out.

  2. Trench says:

Hate to be a stickler jerk (oh wait, no I don’t), but Rand is no longer insane, and the Voice was just him all along.

  3. emlyn riley says:

no contest, now rand has turned in to john lennon an is all peace and love the mountain would exterminate him, although he has been stuck in suspended animation for many years now(a curse on you george get on with it)

  4. daryguy says:

The disadvantage “Mentally and emotionally unstable–a voice in his head occasionally takes control over him” is kindof inaccurate since ToM. Just saying.

  5. Araris Valarian says:

For the record rand is 1 no longer insane. and 2 an official blade master because he defeated the seanchan blade master with witnesses present.

  6. dpomerico says:

I wonder if Rand is no longer insane…

Haha, I get it. I’ll have to come up with another disadvantage for you guys to point out is wrong!

    Seriously, thanks for the heads-up.

  7. trench says:

I dont know about an offical blademaster. Those witnesses and their faces pressed to the floor and afterwards promptly killed themselves.

  8. Bmannion says:

They should really put the super characters(ones that could tear superman limb from limb, in their own bracket). I’d love to see Belgarion Vs Rand. Or Pug Vs Rand. Or Sparhawk when he was Bhellium. Hell, why not put Bink up against Rand? He can’t be harmed by magic is anyway, not even indirectly! Suvudu, you are better than this.

  9. Joann says:

In reply to emlyn riley ; errr, no the Mountain hasn’t ….

  10. dpomerico says:

@Bmannion: The main reason we don’t do them in a separate bracket is because, in fantasy and science fiction, “weaker” characters are constantly defeating gods and other people they normally should have no right defeating. All it takes is some ingenuity, and even Rand could fall to The Mountain.
