I’m in pain.
And I have no time for it.
For the last six days I have had awful lower back pain. I carried about 30 boxes up three flights of stairs and the next morning I could barely move. Obviously becoming an old man. It’s bad timing as I have the Patrick Rothfuss online signing on Monday, where I’ll be moving books for hours at a time. but more than that it’s made me realize how precious our fragile bodies really are.

This morning when I gingerly rolled out of bed—cursing—I thought, “What I wouldn’t give for a combat chest/back chassis!”
That got me thinking.
If I could have a bionic back, would I take it?
The answer is ‘no.’ For now. Give me a few years though? Ya never know.
What about you? Want to be Sam Worthington in Terminator: Salvation? Or Darth Vader? If you could replace any part of your body with bionics, what would it be?
Try to keep it clean… Ha!

I did put down sight, but I would take as much as possible!
I’d go for certain internal organs/systems. That way, I could not only eliminate most of my health issues, but I could possibly tweak my metabolism and other systems so that my body would naturally shape itself into near-perfect health, thus obviating the need for any *external* bionics.
