Winter is Coming!
Here are two recently released trailers for HBO’s adaptation of A Game of Thrones by George R. R. Martin. Both are equally compelling. It’s amazing that we have a mere month before Game of Thrones is unleashed on the world.
The first features the Stark family, the primary family in the first novel. Lots of great lines in it, and also it gives the first straight-on glimpse of Rob. The second trailer is another genuine trailer, showcasing much from the different kingdoms, with a first glimpse at some of the CGI required for those settings.

HBO is doing a fantastic job of driving the launch of this major epic series. In my mind, it deserves it. Those people who fell in love with Harry Potter are now largely grown adults, able to take on something new with a little stronger bite to it.
And no, I don’t mean vampires.
I mean direwolves. Massive direwolves. Direwolves who reign in winter.
And soon there will be dragons…
