New story from Fantasy & Science Fiction magazine

Mar-Apr2011cover0231
Digging into our archives, we realized that we had not yet posted the short story from the March/April issue of Fantasy & Science Fiction . The story is entitled “The Paper Menagerie” by Ken Liu. Liu is a computer programmer-turned-lawyer who lives up in Boston and obviously has learned how to exercise both sides of his brain with dexterity. This is a story of misunderstandings, magic, and most of all, love.

The moral of the story was always cherish you’re parents because you only have them for a limited time and people are a tempory gift in our lives.

  3. Carbon111 says:

Wonderful! One of the most powerful short stories I’ve read in a very long time. Though he is relatively new on the scene, I’ll be keeping a very close watch on Ken.

  4. I’ve read a number of Ken’s stories over the last few months and have enjoyed them all, but this one is my favorite. It broke my heart.

    Brilliantly done.
