How much wrath would a Rothfuss wrought, if a Rothfuss had wrought wrath?

Also, do you shampoo your beard, use special beard soap, or just good ol' body wash?

I'm sure many of your beloved readers are wondering this. (Myself included.)

Questions:
Are there any plans for a movie at this point in time?

What are your feelings on a film adaptation of your books?

Are you planning on writing more of Kvothe or this world you have created once Day 3 has passed?

My beggings:
If you are thinking of ending the series after Day 3, please don't!
If you were to write more passed The Kingkillers, please let it be about the Adem Mercenaries!

Thank you for reading my questions and considering them.

Here's a perhaps unusual question...

Given you list Anne McCaffrey's Dragonriders of Pern series as one of several SF&F series that you grew up on, is Count Threpe an homage to Masterharper Robinton?

For those unfamiliar with Pern (heathens!) McCaffrey's Robinton is the leader of a guild of musicians (the Harper Hall). He also has considerable political influence on Pern, and he's supposed to be a both keen-minded and kindly man, who, while not exactly a gossip-monger, still keeps his ears wide open and those of his Harpers as well, so that he can get an idea of where the wind is blowing and manipulate things in Pern's best interest.

Count Threpe strikes me as what might happen if you take a character with similar basic traits (intelligence, love of music, and an ear for gossip and social networking), and make his life a bit more realistic in regards to his place in it and his political reach.

Are there any plans for a fourth book? The surrounding story (kvothe as an innkeeper telling the story of his life) seems to have a lot of potential. He can get back his drive, stop the war and do other things only his creator can think of etc.

Hello Mr. Rothfuss,

I loved The Name of the Wind and really liked The Wise Man's Fear. A major problem I had with The Wise Man's Fear was there was a facet of the world building I found completely strained credulity. Honestly, how can there be any human society that does not uderstand basic human reproduction? Everyone from the native peoples in southernmost South America to the Inuit to the Bushmen of Africa to the aboriginals of Australia to peasants in central Asia know how women get pregnant. Look at all the fertility rites and symbols. Hell, if you have a pen full of pigs you don't get piglets without a sow AND a boar. This is something EVERY culture in the world has known no doubt since the first people walked the planet. Did none of your beta readers comment on this? How much would it have hurt the story to leave it out?

Also, in NOTW Kvothe was flogged for Malfeasance and recognizes it as a grave crime, yet he uses it to kill and maim a large number of men in WMF with scarcely a thought for the consequences. He doesn't even seem worried that word will get back to the University. Could you comment if this was supposed to represent Kvothe's growing recklessness.

Thank you.

Pat,
I was curious if you had more books like "Princess and Mr. Wiffle" on the horizon...thoughts...possible alternate realities. It is a unique book and fun to explore.

While the Kingkiller Chronicles are your only works being actively published, have you begun working on any side projects that we may see in the future? Even if this is not the case, would you consider another series at some point and would it be based in the same "world" that you've created?
