Uh... not really. Morgan's the epic fantasy equivalent of Lady Gaga. It's about shock, not substance. The grit and brutality is for its own sake, as if to say "Look, I'm being R-rated!" Good for you. Joe Abercrombie, and dozens of different authors, do a better job at violence and grit. "The truth is that I don’t read an awful lot of fantasy." Yeah, I noticed. Maybe you should. Uh… not really.
