The Twelve by Justin CroninThe internet(s) gives and gives and gives.

There are some great sci-fi/fantasy bloggers out there, fans who are devoting a lot of time and energy into supporting authors and their readers. Variety is the spice of life, as they say, and with the menagerie of unique and very different individuals out there contributing, it produces a whole that is better than its parts.

Last week, Suvudu posted the First 50 Pages of Star Wars: Apocalypse by Troy Denning. Matt Staggs interviewed Ted Kosmatka about The Games. Aidan Moher posted Screens from Darksiders II. That’s not all though. Joe Scalora and David Pomerico posted their winners voted by you for Round 1 of the 2012 Cage Match, and I reviewed Crucible of Gold by Naomi Novik.

In other areas of the professional internet(s), Tor.com is reading Part 10 of A Clash of Kings by George R. R. Martin, Pyr Books featured Functional Nerds, and Orbit Books R. Scott Bakker deconstructs Epic Fantasy!

Here are some of the blogging highlights I found outside of Suvudu week ending 3/10/12:

  • Cover: The Dirty Streets of Heaven by Tad Williams, posted by A Dribble of Ink
  • Review: The Emperor’s Knife by Mazarkis Williams, read by A Fantasy Reader
  • Review: The Ruined City by Paula Brandon, read by Fantasy Book Critic
  • Review: The Brotherhood of Dwarves by DA Adamss, read by Fantasy Book Review
  • Review: Woken Furies by Richard K. Morgan, read by Fantasy Literature

  • Interview: Myke Cole, posted by Grasping For the Wind

  • Cover: The Dirty Streets of Heaven by Tad Williams, posted by Pat’s Fantasy Hotlist
  • Review: Greatshadow by James Maxey, read by Sci-Fi Chick

I highly recommend all Suvudu readers to visit these fine examples of sci-fi / fantasy blog work! Get involved, post your thoughts, and enjoy what else is out there!

And feel free to talk about it or anything else on our Forum here!

Till next week…
