Get Your Tickets To The Hobbit Today

poster-hobbitToday, I ordered my preciousss!

No, not the One Ring. Something far more important to me.

I pre-ordered my tickets to opening night for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey! It is the new Peter Jackson film that opens a movie trilogy that might rival The Lord of the Rings in sales. Whether or not Jackson can pull off the adaptation of The Hobbit in a way that makes sense—given my belief he really doesn’t need three movies to tell the tale—is yet to be seen.

I am fully confident the first film will be great though. The trailers look great and the actors playing Gandalf, Gollum, Galadriel, Sauroman, old Bilbo Baggins, Elrond have all returned to reprise their roles, lending a great level of movie continuity between The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings.

Then there is Martin Freeman, who will be playing young Bilbo Baggins on an adventure of a lifetime. Freeman is an excellent pick and I can’t wait to see his journey, the Dwarves, and the fun hardship they undertake to recover lost Erebor.

Well, today marks the beginning of the pre-order period! Click HERE to find your local theater and pre-order your tickets now!

That’s not all though. Peter Jackson has announced that Regal Cinemas will be presenting a marathon of The Lord of the Rings Extended Editions at 293 participating Regal theaters across the United States on Saturday, December 8th!

Umm, yes, I’ll be there! Peter Jackson, taking my money!

Below is some brilliant marketing:
