I’ve not read Hamilton before, but he’s my twin’s favorite author. I’m 200 pages into the novel and I’m LOVING it. It’s a wonderful story so far and I can’t wait to finish it.

Have not started this book, but do enjoy Peter Hamilton’s writing. The main character who has the mysterious past and nothing to lose is not new. I have met him, and for some reason this character usually is male, and I find him interesting.

Have always enjoyed ‘Hamiltonian’ books and have thought them not only entertaining reads but a cutting edge take on how technology might manifest itself in society, so when PFH states he is ‘now’ incorporating more tech extrapolations I am excited to take the ride. Here’s hoping…

I’ve been reading The Great North Road for 4 days and am half-way through. It’s hard to put down, but I have to work sometimes. Great book! More ideas in 20 pages than most SF novels have in an entire book.
