bear-wardogsThe internet(s) gives and gives and gives.

There are some great sci-fi/fantasy bloggers out there, fans who are devoting a lot of time and energy into supporting authors and their readers. Variety is the spice of life, as they say, and with the menagerie of unique and very different individuals out there contributing, it produces a whole that is better than its parts.

Last week, Suvudu featured the First 50 Pages of Full-Blood, Half-Breed by Cleve Lamison. Author Anne Leonard wrote a guest post On Dragonlore. The Suvudu Cage Match continued with Round 2! Matt Staggs posted about George R. R. Martin’s contingency plans if HBO catches up to his published works! Eric Geller featured the newest Star Wars HoloNet Digest. And I posted a new Tyrion chapter from The Winds of Winter, as well as polled people with what format of books they liked to read—short stories, stand alone novels, trilogies, or multi-volume series?

In other areas of the professional internet(s), Tor.com reviewed Game of Thrones: Season 4 Episode 1, Pyr Books turned 9 Years Old, and Orbit Books Glenda Larke, author of The Lascar’s Dagger!

Here are some of the blogging highlights I found outside of Suvudu week ending 3/22/14:

  • Comment: Ancestral Night by Elizabeth Bear, posted by A Dribble of Ink
  • Review: Blood Song by Anthony Ryan, read by A Fantasy Reader
  • Review: Gregor the Overlander by Suzanne Collins, read by Fantasy Book Critic
  • Review: Swords of Good Men by Snorri Kristjansson, read by Fantasy Literature
  • Excerpt: Cyador’s Heirs by L.E. Modesitt, Jr., posted by Pat’s Fantasy Hotlist
  • Review: Influx by Daniel Suarez, read by Sci-Fi Chick
  • Cover: War Dogs by Greg Bear, posted by SF Signal
  • UK Cover: Half a King by Joe Abercrombie, posted by Wertzone

I highly recommend all Suvudu readers to visit these fine examples of sci-fi / fantasy blog work! Get involved, post your thoughts, and enjoy what else is out there!

And feel free to talk about it or anything else on our Forum here!

Till next week…
